Welcome to Forum for Kultur og Næringsliv!

 

We were founded in 2001 as a result of a private initiative, backed by prominent Norwegian corporates and arts organisations. Our common vision was to see arts and business in close cooperation and interaction, sharing objectives of growth and sustainability for both.

 

Today, the effects of arts and business interaction is well known and aknowledged - 40% of Norwegian corporate businesses sponsor arts and culture. Our aim is increased interaction, and our task is to contribute to the development of new and creative forms of cooperation.

 

Our role is to bridge the gap between the arts world and the business world, in the firm conviction that there is a huge potential of mutual knowledge exchange. We will contribute to building and spreading knowledge. Making exciting arenas at which to meet. We now have around 250 members, from business, from arts and culture, and from the public sector, forming Norway's most signinficant network in the arts and business field.
